Arsene Wenger took a swipe at Man City by suggesting he respected rivals Man United for paying for players with their own resources.
MANCHESTER -- Pep Guardiola refused to be drawn on Manchester City's decision to withdraw from the race for Alexis Sanchez but wished the Chilean good luck with his career.
City were favourites to sign the Arsenal striker but decided to pull the plug on any deal because they believed the package to sign him was too high.
He now looks set to join Manchester United with Guardiola insisting he is happy with the strikeforce he has available for the rest of the season.
