Gareth Bale's agent has revealed that the winger is 'not ecstatic' to be playing for Real Madrid but admitted there is no guarantee that he will be leaving the club in January.
Bale has had a strained relationship with the Los Blancos hierarchy for a number of years, with a move to Chinese side Jiangsu Suning falling through at the eleventh hour in the summer.
The 30-year-old fanned the flames of supporter discord at Santiago Bernabeu by posing in front of a banner that read: 'Wales. Golf. Madrid - in that order', after his Welsh team secured their place at Euro 2020 last month.

The move led to significant criticism from pundits and fans, with Bale being booed by the Real faithful in recent weeks, fuelling speculation that a return to the Premier League with Tottenham or Manchester United could be on the cards.
When asked about his client's morale at the club the 30-year-old's agent, Jonathan Barnett, confirmed that the forward was not entirely happy.
"He's not ecstatic," Barnett confirmed during an appearance on the Euro Leagues Podcast, as reported by BBC Sport.
Despite this, the agent also claimed that Bale would continue to perform to his maximum for as long as he is a Los Blancos player.

"The facts and figures prove if he is on the field for Real Madrid they have a better chance of winning," Barnett stated.
Despite his client's displeasure, Bale's representative refused to confirm whether the player would be departing Santiago Bernabeu in the near future.
