Internazionale veteran Luis Figo hopes to spend one more season with the current Serie A leaders.
The 35-year-old's current San Siro deal expires in the summer but the former Portugal international is in no rush to retire from the game.
He said: "I would like to play another year at Inter. If that is not possible then I will end my career.
"I wouldn't return to Sporting Lisbon as a player but I would in a different role because that club means a lot to me."
