Former Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson is one of the leading contenders for the vacant Watford job.
The Hornets parted ways with Quique Sanchez Flores for the second time on Sunday, with the Spaniard failing to turn the club's fortunes around this season after taking over from Javi Gracia - who was sacked in September.
And now, according to The Times, Pearson is one of the names under consideration to succeed Flores at Vicarage Road, with Watford rock-bottom of the Premier League table after 15 games.
The 56-year-old, who's believed to have held talks with Watford officials already, has been out of work since February after he was sacked by Belgian side OH Leuven - where he spent one-and-a-half years.

Recent spells, however, haven't been so jubilant. At Derby, he lasted only 12 games, while at OH Leuven he struggled mightily in his second season at the club.
Along with Pearson, Watford are also believed to be interested in former Swansea boss Paul Clement and ex-Brighton
