Head to Head Record

Burnley and Fulham have played each other 95 times, with their most recent fixture was the reverse fixture earlier this season, which resulted in a 4-2 win for Fulham.

Andre Schurrle

Burnley however, have 45 wins over the Cottagers, with Fulham taking home just 31 wins. The last 10 games the sides have played, dating back to 2000, have resulted in five wins for Burnley, three wins for Fulham and two draws, with both teams having scored at least one goal in all but two of those 10 games.

Recent Form

Fulham and Burnley's struggle has been well documented this season. The two have sat in the relegation zone for much of the season and have both struggled to keep clean sheets.

Ryan Sessegnon

However, Burnley have enjoyed a good start to 2019 with three wins on the bounce, two coming in the league with one in the FA Cup. Fulham on the other hand were victim to a cup upset to League Two Oldham Athletic and have struggled to find consistency since the arrival of new manager Ranieri.

Here's a look at the two sides most recent form:

Burnley Fulham
Burnley 1-0 Barnsley (05/01) Fulham 1-2 Oldham Athletic (06/01)
Huddersfield 1-2 Burnley (02/01) Arsenal 4-1 Fulham (01/01)
Burnley 2-0 West Ham (30/12) Fulham 1-0 Huddersfield (29/12)
Burnley 1-5 Everton (26/12) Fulham 1-1 Wolves (26/12)
Arsenal 3-1 Burnley (22/12) Newcastle 0-0 Fulham (22/12)

Prediction

The last 10 results between the two sides have resulted in 31 goals, just over three a game. Fulham are off the back of poor cup result, whilst Burnley have enjoyed a good period of form over the new year period.

Chris Wood,James Tarkowski,Dwight McNeil

Both sides will want to be cautious to not hand their opponents too many opportunities in front of goal, but with both sides boasting poor defensive records, goals look to be almost guaranteed. Fulham need a result desperately and do have arguably more individual quality in their side, but Burnley have been able to frustrate sides recently.

Prediction: Burnley 2-1 Fulham
