In-form Newport are set to name an unchanged side after Saturday's 3-0 win at Notts County stretched their unbeaten run to seven games.
Graham Westley was without nine players due to injury and suspension at Meadow Lane and could have some of those available for selection.
Kyle Cameron, Mark Randall, Jon Parkin, Reece Grego-Cox and Marlon Jackson are all nearing full fitness.
But suspended Paul Bignot and injured trio Lenell John-Lewis, Joss Labadie and Jamie Turley are still ruled out as County hope the much-maligned Rodney Parade pitch stands up to the wet Welsh weather.
