Edinburgh to ring changes

Newport boss Justin Edinburgh looks set to ring the changes when his side host Burton.

A 1-0 loss at Mansfield on Tuesday meant the Exiles are yet to pick up a point this season and their manager could even drop captain Andy Sandell for Ryan Jackson in a bid to kick-start their campaign.

Jackson, who excelled against Reading in the Capital One Cup, impressed again having replaced Sandell for the final 25 minutes at Field Mill and will hope he has done enough to earn a start.

Kevin Feely overcame an infected toe to start in midweek and looks set to retain his place.

Burton should have an unchanged squad for the trip to south Wales.

Forward Adam McGurk returned to the squad after a hip injury against Exeter in midweek. Last season's top scorer was an unused substitute. Meanwhile, Lucas Akins played with a cast on his left arm after breaking his hand against Dagenham.

Midfielders Lee Bell and Jimmy Phillips and left-back Damien McCrory remain sidelined with knee injuries.

Burton have won all four matches so far this season. They have not won their opening five fixtures since the 1956-57 campaign - when the club was playing in the Birmingham & District League.
