County ready to go again

Newport have no fresh injury worries ahead of the clash with Burton.

The Exiles have named an unchanged line-up for their last two games and manager Justin Edinburgh had a full complement of County players at training on Sunday with the exception of long-term injury absentees Jamie Stephens, Byron Anthony and Ismail Yakubu.

Derby loanee Tom Naylor twisted his ankle in training last Thursday and is being monitored while Aaron O'Connor is likely to feature again, most likely off the bench, having made his first appearance of the season on Friday after 10 months on the sidelines.

Burton ran out 1-0 winners when the sides last met back in December.

They also have no new injury concerns ahead of the trip.

The Brewers scored three goals at home for the first time this season as they saw off Hartlepool on Saturday and manager Gary Rowett could name an unchanged XI as they look for the first away win since March 8.

Rob Lainton (finger) and Adam McGurk (groin) look set to miss out once more for a Burton side who have all but confirmed a League Two play-off place.

If Rowett does decide to ring the changes then the likes of Michael Symes and Matthew Palmer will hope to be involved from the start.
