Arsene Wenger says Arsenal are 'likely' to appeal the red card handed to Gunners debutant Gervinho against Newcastle on Saturday. Asked if he would appeal the dismissal, Wenger told Arsenal's official website: "I am likely to." But the player struck Barton's face, and the chance of it being chalked off is most unlikely.
