Trotters make Guthrie wait

Bolton Wanderers boss Gary Megson says he is prepared to wait to try and make loan midfielder Danny Guthrie's move from Liverpool into a permanent arrangement.
The 20-year-old is currently on a season-long loan with the Trotters and has impressed Megson with his displays in recent weeks.
"We haven't yet got to the stage where we've sat down with the player or Liverpool, but he's doing particularly well for us," Megson told the Bolton News.
"He's now got himself into a more central position where he's happier. He's got to keep that improvement going."
Guthrie broke into the Reds first team at the beginning of last season, but ended the campaign on loan at Southampton.
Meanwhile, the Trotters have been linked with moves for Manchester City striker Darius Vassell and West Bromwich Albion left-back Paul Robinson in the January transfer window.
