Treat Every Team As Though They are Mackems!
Danny Simpson says: "We have to have the same levels that we had in the Sunderland game every time we go out on the field". Danny Simpson: “I think we learned from what happened after beating Aston Villa. We went on from there to have a few iffy results. “I don’t know whether we got carried away and stopped working as hard, I’m not sure we did. But we have to have the same levels that we had in the Sunderland game every time we go out on the field. “I think what happened to us after Villa means it won’t happen again. We’ve learned now that no matter who you play you have to be on your game. “If we go into every game as determined and confident as we did against Sunderland then the sky is the limit for us. “The win was a sweet moment for me – probably a little bit more because I played for Sunderland as well. “I had a good time when I was there so there are no hard feelings for me. I’ve got some good friends who I’ve been giving a bit of stick to. “I’m not sure that Danny Welbeck is speaking to me yet. We’re good mates on and off the field, we go out for meals and as mates, but I think he’s a bit unhappy with me. “I don’t think he’s happy with one tackle I made on him in the game. I think he thinks I kicked him but I didn’t. “Hopefully when the dust settles he’ll be fine about it.”
