Toon Kids To Revenge 4-1 Defeat?

Newcastle Utd's second string face Blyth Spartans in the Sage Northumberland Senior Cup final at St James' Park on Wednesday night. Michael Richardson, Phil Airey and Samuel Ameobi have all emerged as candidates to land their first-team bows and will be on show. Blyth won 4-1 in a friendly at the club’s training ground during the winter. Peter Beardsley: “For these lads to get the chance to play at St James’ Park is as big as it comes. “Our lads don’t get the chance to play at St James’ very often and it will be a great occasion for both sets of players. “They (Blyth) played really well that day and our lads were a bit shell shocked after the first half as we couldn’t cope with the physical side of it.” Kicks off is 7pm at St James’ Park. Fans can gain admission via the East Stand the admission prices are £5 and £2.
