Toon Coach Blames Poor Defending At Corners

Newcastle United's Under 21 coach Willie Donachie says the Magpies 2-1 defeat to Manchester United was because of poor defending.

Willie Donachie: “It was disappointing to lose, but we lost Xisco and Romain, which weakened us a lot as they were our two experienced players.

“Romain picked up an ankle knock, and Xisco has a knock too.”

“We didn’t deserve to lose, but if you aren’t strong at set-plays, and really brave in their box, you won’t win."
