Alan Pardew's side take on Fulham tonight looking to record a first away win of the season.

Alan Pardew: “The last period was a bit of a shock, because I didn’t see those results coming, even with the injuries and suspensions we’ve had.

“We’ve kicked on a little bit and made some changes.

“Now it’s about constantly changing – if you stand still, you’re finished.

“Because of the injuries and suspensions, we’ve gone backwards a little bit, because we stood still.

“We’re going to have to move forward now.”
