Ryan Taylor admitted it "points rather than performance" that mattered at Ewood Park.

Ryan Taylor: “It’s nice to get back to winning ways. We had two disappointments in the last two games, especially the second half against Fulham.

“We didn’t do too bad against Brighton, we just never took chances on the night.

“At Blackburn maybe we didn’t play as well as we can but three points is all that matters.

“We were lucky with the first goal. Yet beforehand on a skiddy surface like that you get told to shoot from anywhere.

“I am happy to play my part. I started central midfield and moved out wide in the second half. It’s nice to get back in the team.”
