Sammy Touch-And-Go For England Cap

Sammy Ameobi could miss tomorrow's England Under-21 game against Northern Ireland at Blackpool.

Sammy picked up what is described as a “slight” hamstring problem.

The 20-year-old had been called up by Stuart Pearce for the friendly at Bloomfield Road for his third cap.

Sammy’s elder brother Shola has set off on a gruelling trans-Atlantic journey to Miami to make his Nigeria debut.

The 31-year-old has been called up for their friendly against Venezuela.

Shola, like Sammy, represented England at Under-21 level, but never won a senior call.
