Sam calls for Keegan patience

Former manager Sam Allardyce has urged Newcastle United to keep faith with current boss Kevin Keegan.
The Magpies have failed to win any of their eight games since Keegan returned for a second spell as manager back in January.
Newcastle's last victory came towards the end of Allardyce's brief reign back on December 15 against Fulham.
But despite being unceremoniously dumped just weeks later, the former Bolton boss believes the board should stick with Keegan despite the threat of relegation now hanging over their heads.
"Newcastle are destined to be a great club down the line," Allardyce said in the Times.
"But the longer it goes without success the harder it is to achieve it and they can't do it by changing managers all the time.
"I've no real bitterness over my departure anymore. I've moved on.
"We were finding a way of playing, having changed everything behind the scenes.
"The players were still learning to blend. I was a question of patience.
"It is like building the Empire State Building in a month. It can't be done."
