Roeder shrugs off rumours

Newcastle United boss Glenn Roeder has shrugged off rumours over his future and claims he is not worried by talk that Sam Allardyce could take over in the summer.
Allardyce quit his post as Bolton Wanderers chief at the weekend amid speculation he is being lined up by Newcastle or Manchester City.
But Roeder insists he is not concerned by the speculation and hopes his City counterpart Stuart Pearce can adopt the same attitude towards the rumours that he has.
"Down the years, Newcastle have always been an easy target for speculation," he said.
"It happened with Graeme Souness, Bobby Robson and now me.
"It's the same with the players. Any time a player wants to leave a club people speculate that he wants to join Newcastle United.
"That's the animal and that's how it is. I certainly don't lose one second of sleep over it.
"I've been through too many things in my life to worry about speculation. I am not worried at all. But I'm not surprised by things like this.
"I feel sorry for Stuart Pearce though and I hope he can cope the same way I do."
Meanwhile, Roeder suffered further bad news following Monday's 1-0 defeat at Reading after seeing both Antoine Sibierski (possible broken arm) and Emre (ankle) probably ruled out of the remaining two games of the season.
