Redknapp Set To Manage A Country Abroad

Harry Redknapp would love a crack at another top job - and could see himself managing a national team other than England.

The 65-year-old saw a successful spell at Tottenham come to an abrupt end this summer when he was linked with the England job.

Redknapp, who is working in an advisory role at former club Bournemouth, felt let down by the FA when they made all the noises saying he would be the next England boss ... then snubbed him.

But ... what goes around comes around ... this was the guy who snubbed Mike Ashley's offer to manage Newcastle, but he said at the time: "There is something not right at that club!"

Harry Redknapp: "I am enjoying it and if something good comes along that interested me, I'd be interested in getting back in again.

"It would have to be something I'd really want to do. I wouldn't just dive in and take any job for the sake of it.

"I worked with good players the last eight or nine years or so and enjoyed it so that is where I would want to be.

"I've had offers from abroad - quite a few good offers from decent clubs abroad - but they've not really interested me so I've not sort of done anything with any of them.

"I haven't been to a Premier League game. I wouldn't want to start turning up and people saying 'what's he doing here?' I've kept out the way, really.

"I would consider jobs with countries other than England.

"I would consider it, if it was the right job, yeah.

"If it was something where you had the chance to be successful and do well with that team, wherever it would be, I would be interested, but who knows?

"You can never say never. You never know in this game."
