Erik Pieters was today on PSV Eindhoven's flight to Austria for their Europa League clash with SV Ried tomorrow - suggesting Newcastle's transfer talks have gone off the rails. Alan Pardew wants the defender - but Mike Ashley says he won't pay the £6m PSV want for their Dutch international.
