Owen committed to Magpies

Michael Owen has attempted to end continued speculation linking him with a Newcastle United exit by claiming he remains happy and 100 per cent committed to the Magpies.
The England striker's future on Tyneside was again brought into question during the summer following his return from a ten-month knee ligament injury lay off.
However, the former Real Madrid and Liverpool star remained at St James' Park and has attempted to end a fresh wave of speculation leading up to the January transfer window by insisting he is happy at the club.
Owen joined the Magpies in summer 2005 for £16million and has started just 18 league games following a horrendous run of injuries.
"There's been speculation since I signed and I don't know where it's come from," he told Sky Sports News.
"But actions speak louder than words and I'm still here, I'm still loving my time here.
"It seems like not a month goes by without somebody saying I'm leaving.
"It's water off a duck's back to me. I've had worse things thrown at me in my career, but I feel sorry for the fans, it must be so frustrating for them.
"I'm looking forward to continuing the season with Newcastle and hopefully we can do well."
