No Krul And Fergie Gifts Goal

Tim Krul now knows he will be playing 'second fiddle' to Stekelenburg in Euro 2012, as the Dutch played their last fixture before the competition starts on Friday.
NETHERLANDS (4-2-3-1): Stekelenburg; Van Der Wiel, Heitinga, Vlaar, Willems; De Jong, Van Bommel; Robben, Sneijder, Afellay; Van Persie
NORTHERN IRELAND (4-5-1): Lee Camp; Hodson, Duff, McPake, Lafferty; Little, Clingan, McCann, Norwood, Ferguson; Grigg
An inexperienced Northern Ireland side were outclassed as Holland completed their preparations for Euro 2012 with a six-goal romp at a sold-out Amsterdam ArenA.
And it was a dismal day for Shane Ferguson, as the referee awarded a penalty for handball against Toon defender, who was attempting to smother Van Persie's chip over the top.
The visitors were prisoners in their own half from start to finish as a full-strength Oranje raced into a 4-0 half-time lead, with Arsenal's Robin van Persie (two), Wesley Sneijder and Ibrahim Afellay all on target.
Afellay made it five in the 51st minute before defender Ron Vlaar completed the scoring.
There was a time when Ferguson was split between representing Northern Ireland or the Republic ... and twice he withdrew from matches before finally pinning his colours to Northern Ireland.
Something he must be wondering about - now the Republic are setting off to Euro 2012.
Michael O'Neill, without the vast majority of his first-choice team for the match, has now lost both of his games in charge with a combined tally of nine conceded and none scored.
O'Neill: "It was a tough night for everyone concerned, I can't fault the players in relation to their effort but the gulf in class was evident for everyone watching the game and evident for us watching on the side.
"It was very difficult for us, we had an inexperienced side against a team that is preparing for a major tournament and are one of the favourites to win that tournament."
