Newcastle United return to Premier League

Chris Hughton's side, who host Sheffield United later this evening, had their return to the Premier League confirmed without kicking a ball after Forest dropped two points following their 0-0 draw with Cardiff at the City Ground. Forest went into the match 15 points behind Hughton's side with five games remaining but can no longer catch them following the draw.
