ewcastle's new signing Papiss Cisse says he can handle being the club's No 9. But the ?9million January transfer window addition from Freiburg admits even he has been surprised by his welcome to the North East. Cisse scored a stunning goal on his Newcastle debut last week, in front of former striker Alan Shearer, and he is in line for his first start at White Hart Lane on Saturday if manager Alan Pardew decides to unleash him and partner Demba Ba on Tottenham.
