Newcastle need to start playing like Bulldogs to win relegation battle

After Newcastle United's poor start to the campaign is it time to start with bulldogs?

It is no secret Newcastle have a fair few Frenchman around with a new one checking in at Newcastle airport every week although Remy obviously got the wrong flight and fell in love with Harry.

The question is do we miss the poachers like Nolan, the set piece master Joey Barton and the battler Alan Smith who together made Newcastle and incredibly hard team to beat home and away.

I would probably say yes, despite the fact it is unarguable that the likes of Cabaye, Debuchy and Ben Arfa have technical ability far beyond their English predecessors.

The club just never seems to know where they stand anymore, one moment a player loves the club, the next minute their jetting off to exotic places such as Liverpool and London (Maybe not).

So why are players leaving Newcastle? I don’t think you can include Andy Carroll, the fee was too high to say no and he got a contract which would make you got “kerching” meaning the deal was probably a good decision for all party’s involved

We have superb training facilities, an amazing stadium, a manager in Alan Pardew on a long term (forever) contract and unquestionably one of the best sets of supporters in the country who are acknowledged around the world for their loyalty so it would be nice for to develop some more Geordies into the first team.

One Geordie kicking at his heals for a sufficient chance is Adam Campbell, a fantastic young prospect dubbed the new Michael Owen…when he played for Liverpool not us, or he would be off riding horses and playing golf all the time. Although I am sure the lad would not turn down two million pound a goal.

However to survive this season with the start we have had we need experience over the line, my ideas….

Charlie Austin, unstoppable in the Championship,

Danny Graham, Geordie lad with the passion we’ve lacked.

We also need a mean centre half to scare defenders like Skrtel or Vidic unlike Mike Williamson who remind me of the Big Friendly Giant... a Russian Prison Guard would do fine actually.

What we don’t need us un-experienced players who have performed well in poor French teams as this is the definition of a battle, last time we were here we went down with not much fight despite it being quite controversial in the end when Viduka’s goal against Fulham was ruled out for not much at all.

May the football gods shine down on us, we will need them in this tough time as we hope Mike Ashley parts with some of his cash to save the toon.
