N'Zogbia still keen to leave

Newcastle United midfielder Charles N'Zogbia has reiterated his desire to leave St James' Park in the January transfer window.

The 22-year-old Frenchman has been with the Magpies since the summer of 2004, making more than 150 appearances for the troubled Premier League club.

However, amid talk of interest from Arsenal, N'Zogbia says the time is now right for him to seek a new challenge.

He told The People: "There have been some upheavals at Newcastle for some time now.

"I have known six different managers during my four years here and that is a lot.

"The club has objectives of its own, yet every season ends up a disaster.

"So I am going to try to leave during the winter. It is a case of trying to get myself a bit more exposure."
