Kinnear eyes more consistency

Newcastle United's interim manager Joe Kinnear is confident that his improving side can beat Aston Villa on Monday and clinch their second successive Premier League victory.
Weekend results mean the Magpies start the match at the foot of the table, but a three-point haul against Martin O'Neill's side could lift Kinnear's side six places in the table.
Kinnear is optimistic his side can build on the 2-1 win against West Brom and beat high-flying Villa, saying: "Winning against Albion was a massive boost for everyone here.
"I'm now optimistic that we have a good chance of beating Aston Villa. But they'll be confident too. They're the team that's bang in form at the moment.
"They've stuck with a number of British players and they have a number of very good players who are looking at that top-four position.
"It's nice to see we're getting players back. We now have competition and that raises the standards. People are looking over their shoulder again.
"We've never had a consistent or settled team out. The same team has never played together for three games in a row. And you need back-to-back consistency."
