Newcastle United centre-half Jean-Alain Boumsong has completed his transfer to disgraced Italian giants Juventus.
The 26-year-old France international has penned a four-year contract with the Turin club, with the Magpies receiving an initial fee of around £3.3million, which will rise depending on Juve's performance in the future.
Boumsong moved to St James' Park in January 2005 for £8million from SPL side Rangers, but failed to find top form on Tyneside and faded from the first-team picture.
In total he made 59 first-team appearances for Newcastle.
The former Auxerre stopper had been linked with a return to France to join either Marseille or Monaco, but has opted to take the opportunity to try his luck in Italy, albeit in Serie B.
