Holloway Says Blackpool Are Not Far Off Newcastle's Standards
Blackpool manager Ian Holloway feels his club don't get enough recognition for their achievements ... and they are not that far behind Newcastle. Ian Holloway: "Newcastle beat us by 32 points last year but they're only seven (points) above us at the moment and we've got five games to go, so how far have we come? "Charlie Adam is fit for Saturday's game. "Charlie is fine, it's good news for everyone. "He has not bust his foot, it was just bruising and he has trained for the last two days. "Vaughany has got a slight problem but it won't be made any worse by us playing him, providing he does a certain regime of exercises. "He joined in training today and didn't look any different from what he normally does, so that is a boost for everyone. "We gave Wigan the first two goals and they got a deflected third. It either goes for you or it doesn't, but I think those things can change round at any time in the season. "The last thing you need to get is frustrated. I wasn't frustrated, I was just disappointed for the lads. They have deserved a lot better and if they keep going and keep believing in themselves it will turn."
