Alan Shearer was being hailed as a managerial genius today after twoof his  substitutions against Middlesbrough paid handsome dividends. But he is not the first boss to throw on a couple more forwards and hope for  the best. Congratulations to Newcastle for getting out of the bottom three, but let's  not get carried away.
