Has Shearer Got More Balls Than Numpties On MOTD?
You just have to look at the miserable dickheads on Match Of The Day to say - not one of them has the balls to manage in football! Is Alan Shearer the exception?
They sit on the panel - week after week - telling Sir Alex Ferguson he will "win nothing with kids"; and telling the rest of the Premiership managers where they are going wrong.
But - in all honesty - could ANY of them do the job themselves?
It's like X-Factor - but with the Chuckle Bothers - Hanson and Lawrenson. Have you ever seen two more miserable bastards?
Well Alan Shearer is allegedly ready to go it his own way and leave the rest of the "wannabees" back in the BBC studio.
Apparently the Toon legend is ready to make a return to management with former club Blackburn Rovers, the Daily Mirror has reported.
The ex-England striker is said to be competing with Tim Sherwood to replace Steve Kean.
There are mixed reports on whether or not Sherwood is interested in the post, however, but the Mirror claims the two title-winners are the front-runners.
Shearer and Sherwood were part of the same Rovers team that won the Premier League title in 1995, beating Manchester United to the trophy on the last day of the season despite Blackburn losing to Liverpool in their final fixture - a United draw at West Ham got them out of jail.
Shearer's brief spell of management at home-town Newcastle United in April 2009 scarred the former Toon No 9 ... more than words can say.
He had eight games to change Newcastle's fortunes after the experience of Joe Kinnear (who had to step aside due to illness) but he failed to prevent relegation.
He won one of the eight, and the Magpies ended up in the Championship.
In June 2011 Shearer rejected the chance to manage Cardiff City.
