Harper feels for fans

Newcastle United goalkeeper Steve Harper has reassured fans that the players share their frustrations following the Magpies' recent dismal run. Glenn Roeder's side slipped into the drop zone following Saturday's 1-0 defeat by Sheffield United at St James' Park after which a number of unhappy supporters staged a protest. "The fans have shown their frustration but don't think for a minute that it's not the same in the dressing room," he said. "It's tin-hat time. You look to your big characters to get on the ball, get out there and do something with it. That's what we need. "I remember what it was like when Bobby Robson came and we just need to get on a run of winning some league games, the sooner the better."
