Nigeria international Obafemi Martins is not interested in leaving Newcastle United and signing for Arsenal this summer.
The 23-year-old has been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium for the last 12 months with speculation increasing recently that Arsene Wenger would sign him if Emmanual Adebayor left the Gunners.
However, Martins insisted: "It is good to know where I am going to be because I am still a Newcastle player and I really want to play for Newcastle.
"I really love the fans as well and I have three years left on my contract so for now I really don't know what is going on.
"There is talk about Arsenal, which is a good thing because they play in the Champions League, but for now I am a Newcastle player and I will stay here for three years.
"I am happy, very happy. I still have three more years left (on my contract) and I really want to play for Newcastle. I want to do my best to help them into Europe."
