Clarkie Tipped For Leeds Job!

Published: 03 Feb 2012 - 12:08:47

Leeds United could be about to make a move for Huddersfield Town manager Lee Clark after he became the bookies' favourite ahead of Neil Warnock.

The former Newcastle midfielder has impressed many while in charge at the Terriers and Elland Road chairman Ken Bates could now make his move after sacking Simon Grayson on Wednesday.

When news broke that Grayson had been relieved of his duties, former QPR and Sheffield United boss Warnock was an early favourite to be installed as Leeds manager.

Huddersfield are currently second in League One and will be unwilling to let their young manager leave the club as they attempt to secure a place in the automatic promotion spots.

However, Clark is ambitious and I'm sure would jump at the chance to join the 'sleeping giants'.
