City Want That 'Toure Double' Again

Newcastle want to rid themselves of this shocking run of bad results ... and Man City have their own reasons to come out with all guns blazing on Saturday lunch time.
City claim they need to re-discover the spirit of St James’ Park to bounce straight back into the title race.
Last season the Blues headed for the north east, just days after their momentous victory over United in the derby at the Etihad, with everyone prophesying that Alan Pardew’s buoyant Toon side would prove to be a tougher test than United.
Newcastle were fighting for a Champions League place in that penultimate game of the season, but City produced one of their most professional and disciplined displays of the season to chalk up a 2-0 victory, Yaya Toure scoring twice in the last 20 minutes.
Vincent Kompany: “It’s fair to say that game has gone a bit unnoticed but it was one of the best games we have played as a unit.
“We looked very, very solid, and when we attacked we looked very dangerous every time.
"Newcastle also had everything to play for as well and were a very strong side.
“Maybe we have to keep that memory in mind when we go there on Saturday.”
"It was an unbelievable performance, and we have proved we are capable of doing it.
“There is nothing in my mind that says we can’t do it again. No-one likes a challenge more than I do but I’m just glad we have the chance to prove ourselves again.
“We all know the importance of the game but I don’t do very well in bad scenario thinking.
“For me, there are so many positives that can happen if we win that game – I can’t think of the other side of that coin.
“We have done it many times before and we need to get back in that mindset. If we do that, good things will come for us.
“Newcastle away is just as difficult as the game we had on Sunday but nothing comes easy in the Premier League.
"It’s a difficult game for us but it’s also a tough one for Newcastle as well.”
