Cisse The Striker To Face Brighton

Papiss Cisse is expected to lead the line for Newcastle United against Brighton, having played wide right in recent weeks.

Alan Pardew is likely to leave long-serving Shola Ameobi – who came in for Ba against Everton at short notice – out of his starting XI at the Amex Stadium.

Alan Pardew: “I thought Shola was terrific.

“He wasn’t in the starting line-up when we did the team, but he came in, and I was proud of him.

“Whether he can play two games in four days...that’s a risk for him. I thinking about resting him.”
