Disappointment: Coloccini won't go to South Africa[LNB]Fabricio Coloccini admits he is gutted to miss out on the World Cup and admits he was not forewarned that Argentina boss Diego Maradona was going to crush his dream. [LNB]The Newcastle United defender has been a regular under his erratic national team boss, but 30-year-old Colon centre-half Ariel Garce has instead been picked for the final 23 despite previously only winning one cap under Maradona. [LNB]Coloccini, who was expected to be a shoo-in for South Africa, said: 'No one from the technical staff spoke to me. But it's the coach's decision. [LNB]'Like any player, I am saddened by this decision. But I give my full support to the players for them to take Argentina to the top. I can't be selfish and wish the boy all the best. [LNB]'Looking beyond this difficult moment, I will be Argentina's No 1 fan and I hope they will come home champions. [LNB] 'Luckily, the people around me say that I should be calm because I did very well in England and anything is possible for me. I'm still young and I can return to play in the World Cup. [LNB]'The coach makes these decisions and they must be respected. It's not only me who's out of the group, but many players.' [LNB]The 28-year-old former Deportivo La Coruna defender stuck with Newcastle despite their relegation to the Coca-Cola Championship last season, helping them bounce back to the top tier with consistent performances at the heart of Chris Hughton's defence. [LNB]His club-mate Jonas Gutierrez is part of Maradona's squad, along with Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez, plus Liverpool midfielders Maxi Rodriguez and Javier Mascherano, who will captain the team.  [LNB] Newcastle defender Coloccini left out of Argentina's World Cup squadCool French hit the heights in the snow as they hope to recreate past gloriesRevealed: Germany's secret weapon...
