Woodgate Has Last Chance To Save His Career!
Former Toon defender Jonathan Woodgate has made more come-backs than Status Quo ... but this current return to action will decide his future. The former England defender's career looked to be in the balance when he failed to make the 25-man squad at the start of the campaign due to a long-standing groin injury. But the 29-year-old has now started a pre-season schedule at White Hart Lane. Harry Redknapp said: "It's fantastic for him. "It's the first time in 18 months or so that there's a bit of light at the end of the tunnel for him. "He could play this season, if he keeps progressing."
