Woodgate Battles On Against The Odds!

Former Newcastle skipper Jonathan Woodgate has been out of the Spurs side since the Carling Cup final last season, and he underwent ANOTHER operation this week. Apparently his latest spell under the knife has gone as well as all the rest:- “Operation a 100% success ... treatment and rehab going really well …hope to be back in the squad in January… Harry and Spurs have been brilliant and I owe them.” Which suggests Woodgate will be back next season - for half a game - and come down with gout, syphilis or Amazon swamp-rat fever. All of which he picked up at St James' Park and missed games. Yes, perhaps one day he will be back fit and ready for the rigours of a Premiership season. PERHAPS!
