Wonga Gave Us Back 'St James' Park' - Don't Forget That!

Papiss Cisse has been left out of Newcastle United's squad for the club's pre-season tour of Portugal ... and he should be shot with shit for refusing to wear a Toon shirt!

The striker is unwilling to wear a Wonga-branded jersey on religious grounds.

And talks between Cisse, a Muslim, and the club have failed to resolve the issue in time for him to board Newcastle’s afternoon flight to Portugal, where United will play two friendlies.

Cisse – who reported back for pre-season training late last week – has offered to wear an unbranded shirt, or one bearing the logo of a charity.

But when it was suggested he should get "the charity" to pay his £40,000 per-week wages, that ain't gonna happen.

I don't believe for one second the Wonga logo is the root of Cisse's problems. He wants to leave ... and I'd slap him on the transfer list.

Do we need this? Seriously - do we need this CRAP?

Mike Ashley took away the name "St James' Park" probably just to wind up the Geordie public, and Wonga PAID for the rights to give us back the SJP heritage and pride.

If Cisse has a problem with the shirt ... let him go!
