Will We Win Anything With Shola Ameobi?
Alan Pardew says "Shola Ameobi can have an impact again next season." Shola is only four games away from a career 300 ... but an amazing 117 have been as substitute. That fact alone shows he has struggled to be a first team regular at Newcastle - and Stoke City when he went there on loan in 2008. Has he won over the Toon Army in his 11 seasons at St James' Park? I still don't think he has. He blows hot and cold, and you never know what you will get from him. If Pardew signs the two "top strikers" he claims he will bring to the club, Shola looks to certain to be warming the bench again next term.
