Will Taylor Get His Chance To Join Chelsea?
We all know Steven Taylor's agent was tauting him to the London clubs in the summer ... and there could be an opening for the Toon defender (who refuses to sign a new contract) at Chelsea. Chelsea coach Carlo Ancelotti has admitted that long-term injuries to captain John Terry and Brazilian defender Alex may force him to strengthen his squad in the January transfer window. And Ancelotti knows Taylor can be bought on the cheap because his contract ends in the summer. Carlo Ancelotti: "It depends what happens with Alex and in the next few days with John Terry. "Obviously, if both players are not able to play for a long time, I think we have to think about this. But just in that case."
