Will Krul Change His Mind About Europe - With Arsenal?

11 July 2013 11:51
Tim Krul is the only Newcastle player to have agreed with Pardew The Doormat over European qualification ... or our lack of it. But what about Champions League with Arsenal?

Krul said last week: "It is best we are not in Europe this season", for reasons only HE knows.

Arse-licking perhaps? Because it's a sudden u-turn from his "delight" at playing in the Europa League quarter finals last term.

According to reports in Holland, Arsenal are ready to offer up to £6million to land the 25-year-old, who only penned a new five-year-deal on Tyneside in 2012.

The move for Krul comes after an attempt to land QPR’s Julio Cesar stalled, with the player also interesting Napoli and Roma.

Arsenal had been in pole position to land the Brazil international in recent weeks, but have become frustrated after he went on holiday and admitted he won’t sort out his future until he returns.

QPR are ready to part with Cesar for around £1million, but Arsenal would prefer Krul if he was available for the right price.
