Will Coventry Fans Be Heard At St James' Park?

Chris Coleman says his own supporters could spark some life into Leon Best. But let's be honest, Coventry's away support usually arrives on a motorbike and two minibuses! Chris Coleman: “Players do get fired up if they get stick from supporters, and I have seen it happen but I am not going to try to tell our supporters who travel all that way what songs not to sing. “I am sure they will have something to say because of his departure and the timing of it I suppose, but we have got to concentrate on ourselves and Newcastle have got quality in more than one area. “You see it a lot and I don’t think there is anything we can say that will stop them saying what they want to say. "But he got 10 goals for us before he went to Newcastle so like him or loathe him he scored 10 goals and was our top scorer. “If Leon plays he will be a danger, we know that because he is a strong boy but our centre-backs are playing very well at the moment. “Leon Barnett came in for James McPake and did a terrific job on Saturday alongside Richard Wood who has been a rock for us since he arrived. “We know what Leon and Patrick are good at and like all players there are things they do well and things they don’t do so well. “I think our defenders have got enough experience to go into the game knowing what he is good at and what he is not, and Besty will know all about our defenders as well so I think it will even itself out and a case of whoever is the best prepared on the night and in the best mindset and ready for it normally come out on top."
