Why Would Moyes Help Toon European Push?

Newcastle have been heavily linked with a loan move for Manchester United's Wilfried Zaha but ...

... there has not been one hint from either club that it will happen.

Zaha has managed just four appearances for United since his £15million switch from Crystal Palace, and is rumoured to be available on loan ... but David Moyes claims that no offers or approaches have been made as yet.

David Moyes: "I did say to Wilf if I didn't feel he was getting enough games, I would consider it.

"Obviously if we've got injuries or other reasons, I wouldn't take it on board.

"But the truth is we haven't had anybody phoning up and wanting to do that it the moment.

"While it's like that, I am fine."

With Newcastle higher than Man Utd in the Premier League, would the Mancs aid the Magpies' European push?

It doesn't make much sense, and I'm sure Moyes doesn't want to shoot himself in the foot.
