Why Do We LOVE To HATE Big Sam?

The Geordie public never took to Sam Allardyce and his long-ball 'keep the ball up in the air as long as you can" tactics ... and now the West Ham fans are struggling with him.

The less said about his time at Blackburn the better ... because when it comes to REAL hatred ... they couldn't stand the man!

Is it more than his 1950's hit and rush tactics?

Perhaps it all came about when he said: "I should be manager of England" or "If I was manager of Manchester United I would win the Premiership every season"?

At the end of the day - I think it is plain and simple - he's a dickhead.

Allardyce has hit back at West Ham fans who have criticised some of the team's recent performances in the npower Championship.

Sam Allardyce: "I don't know why they are moaning about winning.

"Because all this team did before was lose.

"It doesn't make any sense to me, but you're talking about the small handful.

"I've been a manager for 18 years now, and not for the life of me would I expect a football fan to accept playing well and losing, rather than playing well and winning, but if unable to play well, then just win."
