Who Takes The Fixtures Seriously?
I have had many texts this week from Toon fans saying: "The World Cup is shite - I can't wait for the Toon fixtures to come out". Then they came out ... so what? We play 19 teams home and away. Does it matter when and where? A lot has been made of Newcastle's opener at Old Trafford, but what does it matter. The Cockney Gloryseekers have to come to St James' Park as well ... it's not a cup tie.
