Former Toon defender Peter Ramage is worried he will burst his beloved Newcastle's balloons on Sunday with a goal. We are promoted . we are champions . so what balloon could he burst? Peter Ramage: “Mike Ashley stuck with Hughton and come out a rich man. “Hand on heart I don’t know how I’ll feel if I wreck Newcastle’s party – and I’ve got 30 or 40 people coming who’ll never speak to me again if I do. “I’ll try to spoil it for them, but I’ll never, ever celebrate a goal against Newcastle. “But QPR are my priority, although I’d be lying if I said it wouldn’t bother me. “Hopefully I’ll never experience this type of year ever again. It’s been turbulent to say the least, and it’s been testing on the players. “But no matter how many managers we’ve had and no matter how many board changes, the bottom line is we’ve let the fans down – because so much was expected of us at the beginning. “If we’d performed better we wouldn’t have had so many managers." Facing Ramage and the rest of Rs is a team filling the away end at Loftus Road with passionate fans, and one that’s on its way back to the Premiership after just a season out.
