Brentford manager Uwe Rosler revealed that the on-loan West Brom striker was left out of the squad for the recent defeat to Bournemouth following his comments on Twitter at the weekend.
The West Brom youngster was hauled off at the break in Saturday's loss at Leyton Orient and vented his frustration on the social networking site.
Rosler: “We have addressed it [his Twitter comments] with him.
"He trained on Monday and had a meeting with West Brom on Tuesday. He's gone back to Birmingham and visited his mother.
“He was not in the right frame of mind to play. He has a day to think about things but will be back training with us on Thursday.”
