Because they simply DON'T believe us when we say our goalkeeper - Fraser Forster - has hung on for TWO years, knocking back their contract offers, because he DOESN'T want a future in the Scottish League!
The abuse has been flying thick and fast filling up our email box at NU-Mad, but perhaps NOW they will believe what we say ... because it has appeared in the Daily Express.
Daily Express: "Fraser Forster may turn his back on both Newcastle and Celtic this summer after learning that there is interest from a number of Premier League sides.
"Celtic have now turned their attention to Brazilian keeper Fabiano Ribeiro who plays in Portugal for Olhanense as they are unsure they will be able to keep hold of Forster.
"The 6ft 7" keeper has spent the last two seasons on-loan at Celtic and it had been assumed that he would sign a permeant deal with the Scottish champions in the summer months.
"However, after learning of interest from several Premier League clubs, Forster's agent has said he is "unconvinced" that he will make the move to Celtic."
